The most important act of courage for a leader is to make decision. No action can start unless a decision is made. To make a decision means being accountable for success or failure, that is why a large number of people procrastinate. It is important that decisions are made with care and after fully weighing the pros and cons of the available options. But, even after that, the best option is seldom crystal clear. Most decision have to be made in an atmosphere of uncertainty of the outcome. In the military, this uncertainty is called the 'fog of war'. We have to remember that nothing happens without decision. That is why it is said that a bad decision is better than no decision at all.
